My TR story, Contact Me, My Family

My TR Story

I had my tubes tied in March 1996 during my c-section with Madison. I thought I was done having children as I had been blessed with three. Little did I know my then husband would end up leaving me two years later.

When David and I met and then married in 1999, he had no children. He said he was fine with just helping me raise mine as his own, but I told him I thought we should get my tubes untied and try to have a child together because I wanted him to know the joyous feeling of looking into a child’s eyes and knowing they came from you.

Finally, after six years of me chanting at him, he decided he did want to do it if I was still willing! So on April 27th, 2005 I had my tubal reversed at Lakeshore Surgical Center in Gainesville, Ga. by Dr. William Greene.

The tubal reversal cost us $6300 out of pocket, but was much worth it since I found out I was pregnant with Devin only a month and a half later! Devin was born in Feb. of 2006 and we went on to have Makenzie, our second tubal reversal miracle, in December 2007.

Our family is now complete as I had my tubes re-tied during my c-section with Makenzie, but we will always be thankful that God allowed us the two tubal reversal miracles :)
