Hey Neeley :) I’m going for my associates at the moment… unless I decide to transfer to another school. All the other schools in the area only do bachelors- but I’ve been told associates and bachelors pay the same so I’m planning to get my associates if I get in where I’m at now then bridge later to my bachelors. Michelle, you sound like someone I’d want to be friends w/ in the real world-seriously! I agree-the “pray for them/mommy’s prayers are always heard” makes about as much sense to me as “everything happens for a reason”. I want to shout “NO, IT DOESN’T!” everytime I hear that. And then follow it with the line of examples you gave, such as “tell that to the mom whose child’s body was just found/or who’s sitting bedside with a terminally ill child”..the list goes on. It makes people feel better to think that but it just is not true. Tell it to the abused child who lives a life of hell. It’s the same reason I could not get past the first chapter of the Purpose Driven Life. The babies dying from aids in Africa-that was their predestined plan? Sure sells a lot of books though. And as for facebook….I’ve been enjoying the silence ever since I permantenly deleted my account. I was missing the days before status updates, and oh is it nice. See, you’re not the only one!
