I took Makenzie for a bang trim this morning, and ended up getting a little more (okay- a LOT more!) taken off that I had planned. Her hair had gotten quite long in the back, but since it really had no curl- it was just a stringy mess. I had hung on to that stuff long enough. I figured (with the help of her stylist!) it was time to let all that baby hair go bye-bye and let my little butterfly emerge from her cocoon. So this is what we came up with…
Boy does she sure look like a grown up now :( While I was sad to see all that baby hair go, I’m sure glad my little diva LOVES her new ‘do!!!
And when Daddy saw her new haircut, well… I thought I was going to have to call some paramedics to make his heart start again. But he’s okay with it now ;) Whew!

I think it’s adorable! Trinity could use a haircut (we have that same stringy mess going on here!), but there’s no way I’m ready for that yet. LOL
