Just Peachy BEACHY

Just a little bit of blue jello, some teddy grahams, gummy lifesavers and a drink umbrella make this party snack for Devin’s preschool class so much fun! What do you think? If you were 3 years old, would you think this snack ROCKS?!

I’ve been the room mom for Devin’s class this year and have so enjoyed each and every minute of it. I love his preschool, his teachers and the kids in his class. Not to mention the new friends I’ve made in the other parents! It’s so sad this year is coming to an end. He LOVES going and I like having the alone time with Makenzie in the mornings.

Next week, my older kids are out for the summer also. Boy is our quiet house going to be LOUD all of a sudden. I always dread look forward to this time of year. Megan will be working and with us paying somebody to hire him any luck, so will Dakota. I’ve applied for him all over town. Yes, that’s right, I applied for him. The boy has no get up and go to him at all, so I took the upper hand. Please pray he gets a job. He needs a good dose of what it’s like to live in the real world. Madison will be hanging out around here most of the summer I’m sure. She’s the quiet type and doesn’t get into the whole 13 year old giggly girl thing too often. She’s a great help with the little kids when she’s not aggravating Devin just because she can :)

And as for me… I’m sure I’ll have to up my dose of zoloft just to deal with all the extra stress/noise around here. But, my older kids are just that… getting older. So I try to enjoy every day with them (and the little kids too) because I know life is short and one day soon I’ll be an empty nester with a quiet and spotlessly cleaned house and more ME time than I can possibly stand. And as good as that sounds some days, I’m sure I’ll look back and wish for all this drama back…
