Simply Blessed

Urgent prayers needed for my friend’s son Brady. He fell out of a grocery cart last night and immediately started vomiting. This is the latest I know:

“He has a small subdural hematoma (sp) in the front of his brain. We had to get transported to a hospital that has a neurosurgeon (sp) we haven’t seen the doc yet so not sure what all is going on. My brother was watching him at the grocery store and had him standing in the big part of the shopping cart. I was on the next aisle and somehow he fell out. My bro obviously wasn’t watching him very well. I didn’t see him fall but I heard it…. We had to call the ambulance to get us because he was throwing up and trying to fall asleep. I feel like a horrible mama. They said he fell on the top of his head and then his neck and back.”

Please keep Brady in your prayers today as well as his parents, Lynn and Shane. I do know he is having a repeat ct scan this morning and depending on that the DR’s will decide how to proceed.

This is so scary because it could happen to any of us!

Update as of 1pm Tuesday:

“The pedi cocktail had him out all night long. It was pretty hard to get him up this morning. He held down his breakfast. Which is fabulous. He’s still on the IV and is asleep right now. We haven’t had the next ct yet. DR is supposed to be in today. Bbl the priest is here”

Update as of 8pm Tuesday: I still haven’t heard anything new! I’m hoping no news is good news. I’ll keep you all posted! Please continue to pray for Brady!

Update 11:30pm Tuesday night: Brady got to go home!! He is under close watch of his parents for any strange behavior and has to have daily ct scans to make sure the hematoma is going away. Thank you for all your prayers!!! Please continue to pray for him and his family and that he makes a full recovery :) God is good!
