Good News and Bad News and some prayer requests…
Some bad news:
Last night we found out David’s uncle was killed in a car wreck yesterday afternoon. He was going around a curve to fast and lost control and hit a tree. He could have been intoxicated as well since apparently he had a drinking problem. I only met him once so I didn’t know him per se, but it’s still sad. David will be traveling to Tennessee this weekend to go to his funeral.
A bit of good news:
Devin is pretty much potty trained! He has had several days with NO accidents and even peed outside yesterday afternoon- lol. (Gotta love being a boy, right?)
and…
We got our taxes done and will be getting back enough to pay off all the bills- credit cards, leftover hospital bills, etc. Thank you GOD! We don’t owe that much anyway, but I hate small bills hanging over our heads.
As for prayer requests:
Please continue to pray for the Tunell family. They brought Mark back home and are spending every minute with him until his passing. I will keep you posted if I hear any new news.
Pray for Stellan . He and his mom were flown to Boston yesterday and he will have heart surgery next Tuesday. This surgery is risky and has never been performed on a child of five months- so please pray for them. Their story is amazing. If you don’t follow her blog, I highly suggest you do!
Please continue to keep Brady in your prayers as well. He is home and doing well but having daily ct scans and as of yesterday the hematoma had not gone down in size. Let’s hope today it’s smaller! I’ll keep you posted :)
Also, Maddie’s moms blog has the speech she wrote for Maddie’s service. Don’t read it without having a tissue handy~ May God bless that family and give them peace in this time of loss. My heart breaks for them :(
Update: Brady’s mom Lynn just informed me that his hematoma is GONE!!! Praise God and thanks for all the prayers!!!
Also- Kellie’s husband Mark is not expected to last throughout the day- please keep praying for peace and comfort for them.
