TGIF! I’m so glad it’s Friday AND that it’s going to be in the 80′s here all weekend :) And as if life isn’t great enough, I get to wake up to this every morning…
They are too funny. Such hams~ and it’s honestly amazing that I’m in such a great mood after last night. They BOTH came to my bed around 1 am and ended up kicking me ALL night long. Who could be mad at those faces though?! (well, don’t ask me that later when I’m so tired that I can’t keep my eyes open)
I haven’t mentioned anything on here about the new play set David built for them. He worked on it last weekend but had to go to the funeral on Sunday, so he didn’t get it finished until this week (well, it’s actually not finished yet- he still has to rearrange the slide and put the remaining sides up). Dev and Mak LOVE playing on it. I can just see a broken arm coming soon though- Makenzie has no fear.
Today is going to be busy as far as the older kids go. Dakota has his girlfriend coming over and then they (and Megan) are going to a “show”. I’m so sick of shows. I wish they’d get out of that stage. Megan has prom the next two weekends. Yep, I said two weekends. She is going to hers next weekend and then her boyfriends the weekend after that. At least we *might* get our money’s worth out of her dress, right?! I have no idea what Madison is doing. Probably hanging out with us and being miserable. She is 13 you know… and life is miserable at that age. There isn’t a day that goes by that she doesn’t let us know it either…
I managed to get my hair cut yesterday. I haven’t had it cut in well over a year. Nothing big, just layers- but it looks a lot better. I had to take Makenzie with me and she screamed so I ended up having to hold her on my lap while the lady cut my hair. Just crazy… so much for some “me” time huh?
okay, since you requested… here are pics of my hair. Not that different, but much more manageable since my hair is soooo thick!

Aiden has a play gym outside and his needs new swings grr. Tell him that he did a great job building it. ours would be BAD if Joe did it lol.
ahh prom, the good ole days lol. I hope prom around here isn’t this weekend since the quilters are here. Our prom always fell on the week of the quilt show grrr lol
