to decorate! Man I absolutely LOVE the Christmas season :) I am so thankful to have such a big, beautiful house to decorate each year. This is actually the first year I’m getting to decorate it like I want to since our first year here I was too huge for words and ready to POP Makenzie out! I didn’t do too much decorating last year, but this year I’m making up for it. I have spent most of the weekend on it and I’m not done yet. Poor Dave, he’s so sick of pulling out Christmas stuff…
One of our yearly traditions is that we make a gingerbread house, well I should probably say that Madison makes a gingerbread house (I don’t have the patience to sit and design one). She loves to do them and this year was no exception. Here is the one she made this year:
My winter theme in my house is snowmen, so you will see alot of those around in the pics. I just LOVE snowmen :) I keep them up all winter long, not just at Christmas time.
This is the curio cabinet just as you walk into our home~ as you can see I have some of my snowmen already placed :)
I love the garland on the staircase~ I looked all over town for the “perfect” one and I think I found it! YAY!! OH and I made the bow on the front of the staircase~
This is our fireplace and the five stockings for all five of my children. Nevermind the blue snot sucker syringe on the end of the mantle or the baby toys to the left in the floor – haha!
Our Christmas tree- this is the one in the family room. I haven’t put up the other one yet. We usually have two- one downstairs and one upstairs. I don’t know if I’m going to put the other one up at all actually since Makenzie has already been “rearranging” the ornaments on this one…LOL

no, my husband will not put up lights outside! :( Let’s just say he is no Clark Griswold- haha

aww everything looks so pretty. I love snowmen too, omg we were seperated at birth hahaha. I have lighted garland on my staircase.don’t you just love decorating? I love it.
